That one user in this whole thread that’s working so hard at trying to convince everyone that OOP is a lazy, stealing, abusive, mooch off of the very sparse details of one event in his life is like the complete opposite of this comment.

I wish more people understood how hard it is to get out of an abusive home. You essentially have to relearn normal adult behaviour like communication, understanding, and listening. Things that are taught to literal children by their parents. But also that it is possible to relearn these behaviours. I only hope that OOP doesn’t go back to regularly contacting his parents because of his sister. It seems like the time away from the whole family was something needed.
