Somewhere in bumblefuck Iraq in 2005

We had to escort a few VIP's to a target location. We had a convoy of 4 Hummies and the a Van with the two VIP's inside it.

So we drive this road down and see some fucked up toyota next to like 5 burned as fuck insurgents. The Gunner in our Hummie starts laughing and we drive into some village and instantly get shot at. I panic and yell to the drive to go faster but my buddie calls me i look to the back. Our fucking gunner took a big ass bullet to the neck. Everybody starts yelling the hummie infornt of ours gets hit by a rpg and the starts smoking pretty bad i get order to jump on the gunners position and do it but there are insurgents everywhere. So after getting out of this village we have two more technicals on our back and there is a fucking road block in the middle of some dirt road. We manage to crash through it and you wanna know what the compound we are heading at. Yeah that place is near some other shitty village we need to drive through and there are fucking technicals popping up. So we finally get out and drive towards the compund and guess what there is another fucking roadblock but then coming from the heavens a voice over the radio.

" here is sierra 1-1 to convoy lead hold your heads down boys"

And then some Attack chopper comes sweeping down and fucks up the whole village.

We get to the compound and the VIPs are getting detained and i am confused as fuck. Then SG tells me that those guys are prisoners.

And one of them was hiding a cellphone.

And then i got the whole picture why they managed to ambush us and knew where we were heading.

Also the driver of the "prison bus" was some iraqi milita men.

Never work with the locals in iraq your chances to die are far higher then staying around next to a few insurgents all day.
