What was the most satisfying shutdown you dished out?

I hooked up with a girl in college. We ended up drunkenly making out in my room for a few minutes before she told me that she had a boyfriend. I was not about that and told her to leave. Not even 10 minutes later I heard a pounding on my door. It was her. Apparently she immediately went to her boyfriend's apartment, broke up with him, and raced back to my place. Cool, I thought, it's back on, moral quandary averted. However, a few minutes later, my brain started sending warning signals. Even drunk, I knew there were some serious red flags popping up. Just everything about the last 15 minutes has been incredibly off-putting, so I told her to go home.

Fast forward a few weeks and I start hearing rumors about me. That I had professed my love and then tried to force myself on her. That I had told her to dump her boyfriend for me. Pretty much perfect role reversals. Utter sophistry that made me out to be a violent, ego-maniacal asshole. Nothing even remotely resembling what happened. To make it worse, her friend group mixed a lot with mine, so I was hearing all of this from my friends. I never talked about what went down that night because I don't gossip, and I try to avoid humiliating someone when at all possible. I assumed that she had made a bunch of stupid, drunk decisions and was likely more than embarrassed once she sobered up. However, unbeknownst to me, she has been spreading this twisted story for weeks and I had no chance to challenge what was becoming accepted fact. Many of my friends didn't believe me since my explanations were coming off as a desperate attempt to save face ("No that- well, yes it happened, but not like that. She was the one begging me to be her boyfriend. I swear. She switched around what we said and-"). The whole situation pushed me into a bad depression. I felt betrayed by her, and everyone who believed her. I stopped going out with my friends since it was just so morbidly uncomfortable and awkward.

Luckily, my roommate (2 beds, 1 room) had been in his bed, reading, during the entire thing. She was to drunk/crazy to notice, and I didn't care since I was hammered and wasn't going to kick him out at 2AM. He witnessed it all go down, and was the only person on my side. The shutdown occurred about a month after the incident. I was at a friends party, when I heard her telling the "story" to like 8 people. I was crushed and left the party. I didn't have the energy to deal with it anymore. Later that night my roommate came back and told me what happened after I left.

As she was spinning her lies, my roommate piped in, "that's not how it happened". She retorts with, "how would you know" and continues talking. He cuts in again, "well, actually, the thing is...". He went on to explain, in front of the whole party, that he was, in fact, there for the whole thing. That he literally witnessed everything that went down, and if she wasn't so drunk, crazed and thirsty, she might have noticed him 5 feet away. He then recount what actually happened and began ripping into her for all of the nasty shit she has been saying about me. How, even if she was embarrassed (rightfully fucking so) for getting shut down for trying to cheat, pathetically dumping her bf on the spot, bursting back into my room, confessing how cute I was and how she wanted my to be her new boyfriend, and then getting shut down again, she had no right to try and take me down with her. He basically tore her a new asshole.
