There are lots of homeless services and social programs be it private, religious or gov't funded.

Of the homless I have talked to, many of them prefer to just say fuck it and live in the streets. I see no point in supporting people that are not contributing to society in a positive manner. However, I have donated plenty to help those in need.

I just dont think every person magically deserves a nice apartment and free shit when they have no self control.

At work we had an alcoholic lady sobered up and she got a free place to live and everythung furnished and what happens? Bitch goes on a 3 week bender trashes the place literally shits on everything then gets arrested because holy shit they are an idiot.

That was like the 3rd time this person has done this. do they deserve free shit? nope. if they get help and don't try they should be dumped on an island with others like themselves and they can have a hammock and gruel.
