What person or brand was forgiven way too easily?

I think straight, normal, cis, or even non-homosexual is fine.

I don't care what word anyone decides to use.

The only issue I've brought forth is with the proclamation that "Using the word 'Normal' is now considered rude" which I find utterly ridiculous.

They've made their wishes clear and it costs the average person nothing to accommodate, but people are deliberately ignoring them anyway.

I hear what your point is. That doesn't make it any less ridiculous. People can assign offensiveness to anything.

But when people assign offensiveness to an appropriate (and statistically, quantitatively, & semantically) use of the English language... That is irrational and absurd.

I recognize the fact that some trans people have said its offensive. I also recognize it doesn't take very much to accommodate.

However, whose really in the position to be expected to make the simple, easy, obviously realistic accommodation here...?

Is it the demographic of people saying that a proper use of the English language is offensive all the sudden? Or is it the demographic that happens to be the vast majority of the human population on planet Earth who decide to continue using their language as its always been used...?

I'll tell you once more, it's the group making a declaration that a proper use of numerical classifications is now "offensive." I refuse to accept the fact that THAT is something I should recognize as offensive.

As I said: I will expeditiously and enthusiastically participate in the movement of social justice advocacy for the transgendered. But it is outstandingly absurd to advocate the "damage" or "harm" done to this tiny group of people by using their verbal language APPROPRIATELY.
