I unknowingly went to church on a night they dedicated service to discussing porn/masturbation addictions. Totally helpful for people I’m sure, and no hate. But I was expecting a traditional service and couldn’t leave during it for how noticeable/rude it would’ve been. For some reason, my friend and I just couldn’t stop laughing. And we felt so awful because of all the people there (mostly guys and couples) for legitimate reasons, we didn’t want to devalue that. We just continuously stabbed ourselves in the palms of our hands until it was over. I really lost it when the speaker got carried away and went on a tangent of, “you kids don’t know how lucky you are! In my day, we had to go dumpster diving for our porn!”
