What is the scariest experience you have had in broad daylight?

Watching my boyfriend die. A few years ago me and my boyfriend of one year had moved to Columbus OH to live with his dad. He had a problem with drugs in the past (I slightly did, was more of a "binge on percs once every 3 months" kind of thing) but was on the suboxone program when we moved. But we didn't plan very well and he ended up not being able to get a prescription in Ohio. After a few days of him going through withdrawal he decided he needed SOMETHING so he scored some heroin and I tried it for the first time. Fast forward to about 8 months later. We would usually get a 50 bag and split it together. But one day we only had enough for 25, so we got that and split it instead. He did his half first and sat on the bed while I got my half ready. I look over and he's laying on the bed with his eyes completely glazed, it was like I was already looking into a corpse. He always told me to never call the cops because he "would never overdose bc he knows his limits", but I felt my gut just fucking turning and I knew something was wrong so I did anyway. He wasn't breathing and didn't have a heartbeat. I don't remember how long it was from the time I realized something was wrong until the medics resuscitated him, but it still plays in my head like it was hours. When he woke up was the happiest moment of my life. We later found out that the heroin was cut with fetynol(?), which is why it took so little to almost kill a 6'5" 240lb man. 4 years later we're both clean and happy with a house and a beautiful baby dog :)
