What is the small scale work drama happening in your office right now?

We have a girl who overshares the worst information. It’s not inappropriate, but it’s killing her reputation.

She identifies as “They/Them/She”, which is actually fine, since my company acknowledges pronouns. But she is polyamorous; she’s legally married to a guy, they have (had) a LTR with another female. Husband has a third gf who my coworker does NOT like. Additionally, her and her husband had baby in their mid 20s, and they gave it up for adoption, for no other reason than they “felt they were too selfish and wanted to continue the lifestyle they had”. This lifestyle consisted of dating women, playing DND all night, going to furry/comic cons.

They are super big into cosplaying and furry lifestyle. Honestly, The furry stuff is what is killing her reputation. She thinks that because our company is woke, that everyone will be accepting of it.

I know for a FACT this is why she does not get promotions. In meetings she says things like “oh my goddess” (yes you read that right) and she has long bright blue hair and bright blue eyebrows. She wears vests and pocket watches, with jeans and utility boots.

It’s not good, it’s killing her career. Please keep your kinks to yourself guys. Trust me it does not bode well.

She befriended me when I started and I will always support her, and I never speak Ill of her because I have a soft spot for all humans. But I keep my distance because I’m painfully aware of what others think and it career suicide.
