A girl I worked with and myself had a cute little thing going on. Nothing too extreme but we both clearly liked each other and it showed. The issue was, she had a boyfriend.

It might sound cliche to call him an asshole because of my position with this girl but he truly was an asshole. He cheated on this girl about a girl ago, got head from some other random chick and she found out. Basically he begged for her back, apologized, cried his eyes out, the whole nine. At the end of it all she accepted him back. On top of all of that, from the stories she told me, the guy just treats her like shit.

Anyway, me and this girl really fell for each other and I'm not trying to justify it but it was only at work. We never hung out outside of our job. We did talk on the phone though. And her boyfriend found out.

I didn't know that at first but for the next few days she was acting funny. She barley spoke words to me when we're usually talking all throughout our work day. Three days go by and now I'm realizing that I'm being moved throughout the store. Getting asked to do small tasks I'm not usually asked to do.

So I ask my boss what's up. Why am I being told to do different things all of a sudden when I've been doing the same shit at my job, every day for almost 3 years. Why am I being isolated from other co-workers too. Well, this girl told him I was too much of a distraction to her and that it disrupted her working environment. She asked him to move me away from her so I don't bother her. Which was not fucking true at all, SHE would almost always go out of her way to flirt with me at work.

Instead of coming up and talking to me. "Hey, this thing me and you are doing isn't good for my relationship. We should probably stop and just be friends." Something of that effect would have been fine with me. I would have been completely understanding. No, instead she made up some bullshit lie to my boss because she was too afraid to talk to me about the situation.

TLDR; Girl lies and tells her boss to keep guy co-worker away from her after leading the guy on.
