Not proud of being atheist

Why should I be proud that I don't believe in magical invisible sky wizards?

This is exactly why I don't like being atheist

I'm an introvert, my need for community is limited. If you need community, find or build your own. Or heck, go to a Unitarian Universalist congregation, they openly accept atheists. Join a book club, an ultimate frisbee team, a D&D gaming group, or whatever it is that piques your interest. Volunteer at a shelter, become a big brother/sister, build houses with habitat for humanity. There are communities everywhere around us, and those that feel the need for them merely have to look for them. The fact that atheism doesn't have a community doesn't mean you can't have one, just that you won't find one in a common lack of belief.

I just feel like I put religion in a category of its own
