What talent makes you special?

Storytelling

No better feeling than connecting with a large group all at once. Speeches in middle school SGA were my first experience. Then any chance I could get (hosting talent shows, morning announcements, etc) I loved it.

For travel soccer I was one of two captains and I afforded room for both of us to speak and motivate but he always wanted to give me more time, it was an honor.

College showed me that mastering a topic and delivering it to an audience was such a neat skill to have and the compliments I received were huge everytime.

I'm working privately to try and impact people positively with this in a way that is a great exchange in both directions!

Professionally this has set me apart by leagues. I pretend to not see it out of respect for others on my teams and the other department heads but I'm so much younger than them and there are just certain things that are so hard to teach because it requires the changing of so many habits that people think are a part of them.

Being able to talk to people, of any level of an org/status/family hierarchy, while maintaining your composure and core character is something I'm so grateful for. All because of my Dad, he pushed me into all of those positions; "not everything is about the result, but the process and what you choose along the way" is what he said each time I was nervous to grow.
