In what ways can natal women and trans women relate? Also, how are we similar?

i dont know about anyone else but i could provide a personal example of how one could relate

  • can relate to being harassed as a kid in stores, men being super creepy, trying to feel me up on the bus, following me, etc.

  • i dont relate to nail polish or liking glittery things either. Nor do i care about "how to be a girl" as i just see myself as such and thats that. i suppose i do however care about how i look, as i like how i look and wouldnt like it any other way.

  • dont fully relate to periods, i've had similar experiences in terms of embarassment that bleeding through your clothes would cause, mood swings, as well as some minor cramping, but not a real period as of yet, so i can only partially relate.

  • childbirth is moot because there are plenty of women who cant relate to that as is, childfree women, infertile women, women who havent given a birth in general...

  • i worry about access to abortion too, i know what it feels like to lose control of your body and have someone else force you to do something with it that you have no interest in. i wouldnt want that to ever happen to someone else, my country actually has pretty nice abortion laws comparatively, and i still worry about what happens to women in US due to those laws, and various other places like middle east, south africa, south america...etc

As a natal woman, I do not have an identity tied to my being. I am simply me. I never identified as a woman

Could that be, because your body developed correctly and there is no mismatch of any kind? so you simply are not aware of such an identity?

The topics I see in Asktransgender seem to relate more to being trans than being female

why are you even reading that sub? they are the epitome of reddit cancer that pretends to be a nice place, you cannot critisize anything there, nor have scientific discussions, it all devolved into non binary identity games. Stop reading that subreddit, save yourself some braincells - its healthier for you.

Just like when looking at topics on TwoX, most are about menstruation or accidental pregnancy,

those posts are pretty far from "most" , theres a lot more content than that...
