What is the weirdest thing you have managed to get/steal while drunk, but don't remember how?

A large, beautiful, artistically-crafted, stain-less steel pitcher.

It appeared on my kitchen counter one-hung-over morning. My friends at that time told me I stole from an Italian restaurant (placing it underneath my winter jacket). Supposedly the restaurant used it to provide water on each table.

20 years later, I still use it on my kitchen counter, to store my kitchen utensils.

That... and also the LARGE palm tree I supposedly stole from a tree-nursery, and took onto the bus. It's pretty huge now, and I still have it.

And oh ya: I should mention that awesome, cute, fluffy white-pure-breed looking persian type of kitten at a high-end mall pet store.

My friend and I stole her from the petshop, after we saw she was there non-stop for 2 weeks, priced at a very price ($800 in the early 1990's!), crying to be let out of her narrow glass box.

So we understand and heeded her pleful meows to break free... and did just that: broke her free!

To rescue her... My friend simply walked behind the glass-access-area, when no one was looking, grabbed the kitten, told me to open my backpack, and tossed her in.

As we tried to innocently, nonchalantly walk away from the pet-store, she was making a rather distinct and loud meow-crying sound in my backpack! But thankfully no one stopped us.

50 minutes later after rescuing that kitten, my friend gave her to a hot-looking-chick at his apartment building, that happened to love kittens. (This hot-chick of a woman, then slept with him that night!)

In short... I hate to admit this... but I have no regrets regarding these 3 thefts.

We saved a kitten from many more weeks of narrow confinement (because she was overpriced), and also helped my friend to get laid from a hot chick for his rescue efforts!

And each day I see that stainless container, and the palm tree, still in use in my home decades later. And I'm also glad we gave that kitten a new home.
