Being prescribed just one ADHD med and having it not help doesn't mean you don't have ADHD. Sometimes a certain medication just isn't the one that's right for you. It's kind of trial and error. The doctor who diagnosed me had the results of my genetic testing to point out which ADHD meds I'd respond to and which I wouldn't. After I started taking the correct med I really felt a lot of my symptoms decrease.

Responding well to an ADHD med kinda says you have ADHD but not responding to a med doesn't mean you don't have ADHD.

Just wanted you to know that an ineffective med doesn't rule out that you have ADHD. Good luck!
