What is your funny run-in with the cops story?

Picture it- tiny college town in the middle of no where. It's 2002, the cell phone coverage was horrible and I was the DD for my 2 friends. I'm driving my friend's car and her seatbelt doesn't retract anymore. We couldn't find the party nor did we have service to call anybody. We pulled into a parking lot and my friends decide to have a power hour. Blasting music and chugging beers commence while we wait to figure out our next move. We sat there for an hour (so stupid) and my friend in the backseat would randomly open the car door. I asked what she was doing and she stated "getting some fresh air". I shrugged, no big deal. We finally get ahold of some guys that are going to meet us at this parking lot. A cop pulls into the parking. We all freak, just act cool. Cop pulls up behind us, lights on. Fuhhhhhh!! Hide the evidence! Friends start shoving their beers under the seats. Second cop pulls into the parking lot. Cop comes to the driver side, she flashes her flashlight into the car, and then to the ground outside. Asks me to get out of the car. It being my friends car, I open the door and attempt to step out. Somehow the seatbelt has wrapped around my foot and I roll out of the car. While rolling I knock over beer bottles that are on the ground outside the door. Horrified, my friends fly out of the car pleading my case that I am sober. We are all asked to stand by the trunk of the car. My friends proceed to the backseat of one cop car and I get to sit in the front seat of the other cop car. Lady cop is skeptical of my sober story. She had me do a breathalyzer test. I breathe into the test, ERROR! I breathe again, ERROR! What the F, I start to get really nervous! Lady cop messes with it, hands it back to me. Deep breath, blow. . . .FINALLY 0.00! Phew, sigh of relief. She tells me, "You need to find better friends and for God's sake don't put empty beer bottles outside a parked car!" "Yes, ma'am!", I replied. My friends were given MIP's (minors in posession) and I was given orders to drive us straight back to our dorms. Lesson 1- don't drink in a parked car, especially if there are empty beer bottles on the ground outside. I did ask my friend why she did that. She replied, "It's illegal to have an open container in a car." Lesson 2- don't have dumbshits as friends, lol. We all had a good laugh the next morning! And I haven't been in a cop car since!
