I woke up one morning to a phone call, I was already half asleep when I answered and some woman on the other end was asking me for my social security number. I told her no, and she said she was with Geico insurance and my dad told her to call me. I hung up and texted my mom to ask her what insurance we were on, well she told me the wrong company. So when this lady calls back I am the biggest asshole telling her she's trying to scam me and to never call back or I'll call the cops. A few minutes later my dad calls me and tells me I need to give my social security number to Geico and they're going to call me again. It was very awkward to face her again
