I have my theological disagreements with progressive Muslims but I don’t challenge them most of the time because 90% of what they say line up with I believe. They tend to be supportive of secularism, LGBT and women’s rights, and liberal democratic human rights in general. Burning a bridge over theology is too neckbeardy for me. I only burn bridges with people from other sects because what they want to do IRL is just so dystopian.

Every other sect is just awful. Also I noticed that people have been trying to paint Ahmadis in a really positive light because of the horrendous discrimination and attacks they have to deal with, but anyone who has seen the inner works of what they do will know that they are just as horrible and cruel as the other sects.
