What's been your biggest struggle on self-improvement?

He does not take medication for it. I do know his problems today stem from childhood trauma. I told him after a bad argument where he ended up hitting me, if he doesn't go to therapy and deal with those problems, I have to leave. He just had his first appointment a few days ago. I also am getting us the DDP yoga shit to practice grounding and mindfulness of our current states to avoid things becoming so chaotic again. But yeah he definitely is not willing to take medication, and I don't blame him. I understand trauma all too well, I think he needs to do his part on the work in understanding his trauma now. Because he invalidates the physical abuse I've endured, I imagine he's invalidating his own as well inside himself.
