A. This is the very beginning of his third year. Every team would give a first round QB at least two years to develop. Hell, the Chargers gave Ryan Leaf three.

B. You might have heard about that Case Keenum guy. I'm not sure, but I think he was brought in to play QB for the Broncos.

C. We're talking about a backup QB "battle" between a guy going into his third year and a seventh round rookie. Nobody except maybe's Paxton's mom is counting on him to be the future of the franchise.
