What's keeping American politicians from taking decisive action on gun violence and what can we Europeans do to help you solve this problem?

The people talking about how “guns don’t kill people” and “they’re not taking my guns” are the reason the politicians won’t take decisive action. So the best way to help is to get rid of those people.

For the record, I’m a gun owner. Also for the record, there’s no fucking reason for a civilian to own an AR-15. Guns are made for one of three reasons: to hunt, to protect, and to kill. AR-15 style guns were literally made to kill. You don’t hunt with one and you don’t protect with one. They are designed to kill a lot of people in a short amount of time. And they shouldn’t be owned by civilians. There it is. I’ll come down from my soap box now.
