What's the most patronising someone has been to you?

I had a pair of bosses that were the worst. It was a man and women who were together, not married - but romantically involved, and also ran a business. The two of them had a way of making me feel like an idiot although most of the problems we ever had were because of them.

The worst was probably when I had to enter some data for them. Now - I think it's important to know that I had collected and encoded all of the data for them, but the woman wanted to enter it into the database herself because she had all of the insurance information (it was billing-related data). She keeps the data and the info about what code goes with which client for months, and then decides she wants me to enter the data. She sends me multiple emails (each one correcting the one before) and gives me a deadline - while the other boss has me travelling all over the state on separate projects.

Somehow I get it done, but there were like 5 people (out of 80ish) that had the wrong insurance information entered. This happened mostly because there was conflicting information on the paper forms and the spreadsheets she sent me... Oh yeah, and she lost all of the codes so I had to figure out who was who by process of elimination.

They called me for a teleconference and she called me incompetent and talked about how she couldn't believe someone who supposedly got a doctorate could fuck up so bad and so on and so forth. She expects more, she's so disappointed, blah blah. I was so pissed and shocked, I couldn't even speak. About a month later, she send an email saying I was immature and "she can't deal with this drama" because I sent them an email about people who had terminated services with them.

Now, she doesn't speak to me in any format. If she has a question or needs something, she tells the marketing/secretary guy to send me an email for her.
