I watched The Grudge at a party when I was 11ish, and I’ve not slept in complete darkness since even after 10+ years. Up until around 2 years ago I would occasionally remember it and get flashbacks before bed.
When I was 7ish I was scrolling through channels and watched a bit of this movie called Slither on HBO. After that I slept with ALL the lights on for around 3 month and I had to be with at least another person.
Definitely veggies downside to a having vivid overactive imagination
Anyway, recently saw clips of Martyrs in a video essay with zero warning. No disrespect I just knew this was one of the only movies I would never ever watch. For those who has seen it I’m sure you can guess which clips I’m referring to. Instantly closed the video and I’m scarred for life. I’d do anything to unsee that. I’m not somebody who hasn’t been around the internet too like I’ve seen shit, but something about that scene from Martyrs really messed me up
