A dental procedure which went wrong. The dentist only put me under local, because he thought it wouldn't take too long, but the tooth broke off. As it was a rear molar, he had to remove each root individually. Whole thing took about three hours, and because he could only give me so much anaesthetic, it had worn off within the last 30 minutes, and the only thing which stopped me feeling everything was the fact that my jaw had gone numb from my mouth being open for all that time. I said I had enough, so he stopped, and then I had a panic attack. He had got three of the four roots out, and it seemed like the last one took longest.

I had to have a second procedure a few days later, in which they put me under general, and they said the root was out in about five minutes.

For a few days after the first procedure, I looked like I had been punched. I should have sued the guy really. I think he thought it would just come right out, hence the local anaesthetic.
