Which fictional character, while not strictly a villain, is just the worst?

My point is that Superman was originally portrayed as good and connected to heartland American values, is that correct? His comics played a role in dismantling racism and the kkk. However, Kansas general values have diverged from the path “American values” have taken as both have evolved. Kansas farmers voted overwhelming in the gubernatorial race for a man who was staunchly anti-immigrant, an advocate for a Muslim registry, tried to each some of the strictest voter id laws, and who toured the country suing every state that offered I state tuition to undocumented migrants. That’s who Kansas farmers voted for. I’m not suggesting Superman would have ended up somewhere else. I’m wondering what would Superman be like had he been raised by the average Kansas farmer today.
