Which game would seriously deserve a well done remaster?

It won't work.

I remember when Black Mesa released, and everyone was like "Time to relive my HL1 experience!"

But then the strangest thing happened, vets of HL1 said "This isn't anything like HL1" and the new players said "No it's cool as hell I love it!"

I got to like, level 3 and realized they left out almost ALL secrets, changed levels to create less work for themselves, and that it just ended up feeling like a somewhat decent HL2 mod.

Now... If they had made EVERY level exactly the same size / shape, then just made it prettier it would have worked.

But they didn't, they never do, just watch you'll boot up the remake of Deus Ex 1 and you'll start in Paris instead of NY because the designers didn't want to have it be the "same" just "spirtually the same" which isn't the same thing.

They'll also tweak the ending, to avoid hearing "I already did this once before, coudln't you just change it like a little bit to modernize it?"

What you end up with is a game that is nothing like the original, and not original in it's own right. So you now have basically a stepchild game that has no home and nobody plays it or plays the MP

Tell me again what the point of this would be?
