While we watch the left is making progress to their eventual goal

So then gender identity doesn't have to do with societal forces, but rather chemical imbalances in the brain? So that makes it biological?

So it's either biological or societal, which is it?

At ten years old, your parents suddenly decide to call you by a girl's name, make you wear dresses to school, and only let you play with dolls. Would you accept this? Would it bother you? Would you resist? What arguments would you make? Wouldn't you just want to scream that you know you're a boy and you don't want to be treated like a girl? Wouldn't you consider that to be child abuse?

You're being a bit intellectually dishonest here, in my opinion.

As a boy I always had the biological urge to be very physical. I was into sports like other boys. I liked things things that other boys did too. I had the same parts that other boys did. I have always been overwhelmingly into masculine things.

But even if I didn't, I don't think my parents would've cared. I remember a few times as a kid pretending I was a girl, watching girl cartoons, etc. My parents weren't really bothered by it. If they were, then yeah, it'd be a dick move to regulate that closely what your child does.

But there's a huge gap between punishing him from playing with a barbie doll and suggesting that he actually isn't a girl.

a) there's an endpoint; change physical sex, and the desire is satiated, unlike with anorexia

False, studies show that the suicide rate among transgendered people is the same before and after surgery.

b) it doesn't harm anyone else, unlike paranoid schizophrenics who act on their delusions.

Depends on how you look at it. Pronouns? Alright, no one cares, you can have this.

Bathroom controversies? Sports league controversies? Those things could easily be considered as a problem by most. For me, they're a bit inconsequential (although, if I had a daughter, I'd be a bit iffy on that bathroom one).

What bothers me are things like Bill 89 in Canada, that allows the government to take away your child if you disagree with their identity. Now that's a good reason to be outraged.
