WIBTA If I(24M) stopped cooking for my (24F) girlfriend?

Flair for a short time yes...adaption to meat only does cause a change--in someone that has issues it may take a good 3-6 months of meat only to start seeing any type of health benefit. When starting carnivore as person with health issues it is recommended to eat only beef for 30 days then slowly add in other meat types--eggs--dairy to see how well those are tolerated. You are correct in that genetics play a role, but meat only will heal just about anything that is not genetic related.

It is a myth because there are absolutely no interventional studies that show meat CAUSES (on its own) autoimmune diseases. Usually its something else that is being eaten with meat. You mention nightshades, what about the myriad of plants that produce toxic substances to the human body--Flavonoids, Oxalates, Salicylates, Lectins, etc.?? Even if you do not want to eat meat only it is a good idea to know exactly what is causing you to flair. I also have health issues that I have to be careful what I eat. I understand that your food intake is a personal choice--I am not telling you...you must eat meat. I am only answering the questions posed here by those that are asking question and those that are making the meat harms statements.
