It's literally just not possible. It's a support dependent role and will always be that. And it's due to this fact it can never be "enjoyable". You also can't make it not support dependent because if they are able to go toe to toe with melee champions on their own then they will take over top and mid.

That's the reality of the role. If you can't enjoy it in this meta then you will never enjoy it.

Also, truth bomb. ADC is strong but a difficult role, to the point where gold players have no business even playing it. The problem? 95% of the player base is gold or below. You could say that's the problem, but how would you go about fixing it? It's not easy, if even possible.
