Work lunch with a new to me cuisine

Everyone here is suggesting chicken dishes but Indian (from India) food is one of the best cuisines for vegetarians due to the large amount of people who don’t eat meat or limit their intake there. Any kind of Dal is great (made with lentils), Chana is based around chick peas, Mutter Paneer is known by my coworkers as “peas and cheese”. Saag paneer is spinach and the same cheese (sort of like tofu cubes). If you are afraid of spice, just go with the butter chicken. I’ve never had it (I’m vegetarian) but based on the people I know that like it, I would guess that it has broad appeal. Another option is to get a combo or something with a few different curries. Actually my very first experience at an Indian restaurant, my friends and I ordered one of everything as each curry was $1. That was how I found my favourite dish, Dal Makhani.
