Would i even have a chance at finding a girlfriend?

Unpopular opinion coming up: all that matters is whether you are physically attractive or not. Weight loss might not solve everything.

No actually, let me rephrase that. Ofcourse not being an asshole, and instead being funny, kind, (emotionally) intelligent matters. But whether you are handsome enough on top of all that will be the decisive factor.

If you're a little below average, that's alright. If you are plain ugly, you're done for. Because even if people are interested in you, they won't actually try and be with you for fear of being 'uncool'. I am aware this sounds like high school. But you know what, a lot of people don't outgrow that mindset.

It was made very clear to me since I was a young child (F) that I am ugly. I'm now about your age, and it is still very clear that people think that of me. I have good friends, nice study mates, a social life, but I know ever having a relationship is not in the cards for me.

Unless the idea of having a girlfriend motivates you to take better care of yourself, try and forget about it.

Love is not guaranteed, not something everyone gets to experience. So please don't make that the thing you feel like it's worth living life for.
