Year 2 into the pandemic… How are you coping, really?

If you're not vaccinated, you need proof that you've recovered from covid (which means you need to catch it, which is not something we want to do) or you need a negative test.

But they're going to start charging for these tests as a way to push people to get vaccinated. Nobody knows yet how much they'll cost, but if you have to take a test every time you leave the house it adds up.

Also about seeing a doctor, in theory that's possible, but GP refuses to do anything until she gets cover from a specialist, but to get an appointment with the specialist you have to wait 6 months. Unless you're rich enough to afford private insurance, in which case they see you immediately.

And then after you wait 6 months, you go to the specialist, only to find out they took the day off and have to reschedule. And then you never get the appointment in the end. That happened to us about a year ago.
