Young America’s Foundation at George Washington University has objected to mandatory LGBT sensitivity training – and has since been called a ‘hate group’ and accused of ‘violence’ and other offenses for inviting Rick Santorum to speak and refusing to use people’s ‘preferred gender pronouns'

being talked down to by people like you,

Hold the fuck on.

First of all, reasonable discussions about differing opinions don't start by hurling personal insults. I've never said the first fucking word to you, and you've already made up your mind about exactly what type of person I am, including the (completely) false assumption that I've bullied people with alternative lifestyles.

How the fuck do you justify that? Seriously? What reasonable person reads a single comment and assumes another is a terrible human being because he refuses to use a pronoun?

Not only is this absurdity at it's finest, but, as I would also like to point out, a crime: libel. You've just told the entire world that I have engaged in acts that are, without a doubt, criminal, and done so without a single shred of proof. So, to borrow a phrase from popular acceptance movements: check your fucking privilege.

Fact is, society treats these people like dirt.

I've never made the argument they don't.

The only opinion I've expressed is that people who refuse to use a pronoun are not guilty of violence, and that stating otherwise is ridiculous.

That's it. Also, and I can't overstate the relevance of this,

Refusing to use a preferred gender pronoun in a social setting does not meet the legal definition of violence.

18 U.S. Code § 16 - Crime of violence defined:

The term “crime of violence” means—

(a) an offense that has as an element the use, attempted use, or threatened use of physical force against the person or property of another, or

(b) any other offense that is a felony and that, by its nature, involves a substantial risk that physical force against the person or property of another may be used in the course of committing the offense.

Is it rude? Definitely. Does it make the person refusing to use the pronoun an asshole? Perhaps. Should people go to jail for it? Not a fucking chance.

Finally, and this is the truly important part of this response, so you'd do well to pay attention:

You don't know the first thing about me.

You don't get to demonize me because of some perceived slight on your part or because I disagree with you.

That's not how the world works. So, in closing, kindly go fuck yourself.
