It sounds unfair that you live with your husband and his family but aren’t able to make this work. Your degree is important. Have you discussed ways to make this happen? Maybe they could at least help you study?

Is there public transportation in your area to or near the university? If that’s not an option. Maybe the household or just you and hubby could save a few dollars aside every week and that is your school gas money? Or maybe one of the family members could help by watching your DS at night if you could take a night class? It sounds like you have a whole support system at home but you just need to take advantage of it while you can! Your degree makes for a better future for you and your family, so this should be priority #1 imho. Maybe a summer class?
