Religion has you looking externally for a savior. It has you getting on your knees disempowered. It has you putting what power you do have to an outside or external force. Politics has you seeking for a leader wanting/needing to be led. Religion and politics are the most divisive things that has ever been given to human kind. Those two things have kept humans focused externally. Surrendering their power to an outside or external source and disempowering themselves by being convinced that their is an external savior (something religious or a man in a political suit) that is going to somehow change the way your country runs to make things better for you. None of this is rooted into reality. These mechanisms are designed to separate you from yourself and separate humanity.
