so I'm a married, adult male in my late 30s with a wife and kids, so I'm obviously not the target demographic for Taylor Swift, but I just recently had a very long conversation with my little cousin who is a huge fan, and she educated me on all things Swift and I've come to the realization she's an awful person, and so are her fans.

First of all, I don't understand how it's just okay to have so many songs about your ex-boyfriends. One song? Sure, I get it. But having multiple songs where you write about your ex is borderline psychotic and unhealthy. It's doubly ridiculous that apparnetly her fans find out who the songs are about then decide that they hate the guys based on her personal, one-sided account? Also, if so many guys are being assholes to the point that your relationship ends and you have to write bad songs about them, perhaps it's not them - perhaps it's you? It's like that idiom about how if you encounter an asshole in the morning, there's a possibility he was in fact an asshole, but if you encounter assholes throughout the day, perhaps you're the asshole?

Also, apparently Swift just recorded her old album and how her old song about another celebrity ex is now being brought up again? and her fans are trolling him and making fun of him? imagine having to go throught his years after a break up just because someone decided to bring it back up to the public. If a guy did that to a girl and his fans harrassed the girl, would they crucify him for bullying?

But I mean, I don't really have strong thoughts about this at all..
