14 year old daughter wants a nose job. Not sure what to do

Late to the thread, but I felt like I had to comment.

I've hated my nose since middle school, when it started to grow oddly and look a bit awkward. It's not big but it is crooked and has always been noticeable to me.

I'd love to be one of those people who thinks it adds character, but all I ever see in photos, mirrors, etc. is my crooked nose. Everything else is fine - just the nose. I'm 27 now and having my nose corrected in November. And I'm not completely changing it. Just having it made into a better version of its current self.

I do think 14 is too young. She is still growing, after all, and there's a possibility she could grow into its current size.

But I think therapy would be good for now, and if she wants to have surgery after she's 18 (or at an even more mature age) and you'd like to help her out, I think nothing is wrong with that. And if you say she's otherwise confident, it doesn't have to mean she'll always seek out surgery as therapy or continue to be unhappy with her appearance. For me, I know I'm happy with pretty much everything but my nose. That has never changed, and now that I'm old enough, I want to fix it. I also think there's nothing wrong with researching the procedure and helping her learn more about it. Good luck!
