2-year-old Detroit girl dies after being shot Wednesday evening on city's east side during an altercation her father had with another man over a spilled drink earlier.

I once watched a documentary about a photographer who took pictures of child soldiers in Africa.

He said the thing he learned was, that war was the result of gun powder, youth, and poverty.

Check. Check. Check.

It's a reinforcing cycle. Until the culture fixes itself there is no hope.

(Honestly I think it's because most people believe subconsciously that black people are violent. White people aren't racist but they don't stick around in a black neighborhood. They're afraid they might get shot because it's a black neighborhood. Because let's face it whitey in Detroit is going to get shot. China town what fun! Chinese food!. Little Mexico. Awesome tacos! Fucking Oakland. Gonna get shot and some black guy is going to walk lockstep with my girlfriend and intimidate the fuck out of us. What fun?)

I don't go anywhere that hates white people. North Korea. Never going to go. Middle East. Probably only if I'm drafted. Black neighborhoods. I prefer not to be mugged or assaulted thanks.

Am I suprised that North Koreans throw people in concentration camps? No. Am I suprised middle easterners throw acid on women's faces? No. Am I suprised a 2 year old got shot in Detroit? No.

Hating whites (white america) is a byproduct of their backwards culture. But in America you can't say that about black people because it's racist. (With good reason black stigma effects everything from employment prospects to home values, to jobs in their neighborhoods.)

And yet a 2 year old was shot. Their home values are abysmal. And even soulless corporations who care for nothing but profit won't locate in their neighborhoods.

That kind of cognitive dissonance bothers most people. So they stay silent on the matter. The damage of being labeled a racist for addressing it far outweighs what little good it might do.

As Christ says "only the sick need a physician" he was willing to associate with sinners and tarnish his good name for their sake to help them. Black culture is sick, but no one will tarnish their good name to help them because being labeled a racist is far worse than almost anything else.

It's a classic catch 22 damned if you do, damned if you don't.

Truth be told most people honestly believe that the opportunity is there. They could have good educations good jobs etc. it's not that America won't supply these things. It's that their culture won't accept them. That it is incompatible with them.

It's like trying to produce stable democracy in the Middle East. The culture their just won't accept it, not that America wouldn't absolutely fall head over heals trying to help make it happen.
