Is 20 too young to have a baby?

People have children as teenagers and in debt. Having a child has pretty little to do with age nor finance. It's a personal decision. If you feel ready to begin that chapter of your life, then you should. Don't let others tell you what is and isn't appropriate.

You may "lose out on your party hard 20s" or whatever people are talking about, but you also might just waste the time for nothing anyways if you choose to wait... You'll have the benefit of being a young parent, able to keep up and bounce back and share more interests with your kid. That's kind of nice in its own right.

Ultimately, it's up to you to decide if you're ready. Don't listen to the hype that you'll ruin your life or that you stop getting to be social or grow your career or whatever... parenthood is what you make of it. You're perfectly capable of having your cake and eating it too. Although, I don't recommend eating your child, for clarity's sake. But again... you do you...
