She only acts out like this when her mom is here. The game is she spits and hits and then runs away to mom for protection and then repeat. The locking in the bathroom is a new game she does this maybe 10 times today. I cant keep stopping her from this, she has got to stop. I do use timeout but that seems to be worse than soap. To be clear I am NOT pouring soap into her mouth, I am covering her mouth with soapy hands so she does not want to spit. She usually just kinda grumbles and walks away. But time out is GUARANTEED disaster full of hitting kicking and screaming. I usually only do this when she’s overtired and needs her nap. Then I never use soap or brush because the meltdown is quite unavoidable.
