Exactly this. You spend more time working than you do being yourself. On paper 3 days off is great, but at the cost of 10 hour work days? I remember back in highschool I attended a school where I had to get up 6:00 to get to class before 8:00 and finish at 4:00pm MINIMUM, then I had to do schoolwork at home and repeat the cycle. It was brutal, I lost myself. Now at work it's the same but instead of homework, I get to do some occasional work my boss pulls out of his ass, even on weekends sometimes. What the hell am I even doing with my time? Is this what I spent 4 years in college for? Not to sound like a hipster but the work system is fucking rigged and corrupt.
