Aaron Leming: Despite major media outlets denying it, I've been told that Kaepernick is indeed on the market. Bears rumored as interested.

unless you are ryan pace

.

kaepernick is widely regarded

Oh ok, so you only care about public opinion when it fits your narrative.

t20 qb

His worst season puts him at 20th in passer rating. Everything was falling apart on that team. He's usually around 10-15 passer rating, and if you look at his averages that's where he hangs around.

but is paid like a t3

Well he had the 28th highest cap hit and 14th in total cash so at least if you're rounding to the nearest 28 or 14 you're right.

he's entering his 4th season as a starter

Alex Smith started the 2012 season for the first 3 games.

his numbers and his teams have gotten worse each successive season as defenses have figured him out, and once you shut down his 1st option

By first option you mean only option, right?

get a little pressure on him he's fucked

He's pressured the 5th most in the league so yeah he might have a bit of issue.

He's 11th in ACC% under pressure so he's a little above average.

worth every penny LMFAO

I'd say the guy who's getting middle of the pack money who's about middle of the pack at his worst is pretty decent. Now, his guaranteed cash is high but that's expected of a guy with high potential like Kaep.

By the way, I hope you didn't think I wouldn't see your edit 12 minutes after I responded to try to fix some of your comments.

So I'll respond to what you edited here:

yeah 2 full yrs in the nfl coming off a super bowl appearance and ton of hype. so that's not long enough to actually be good but it's good enough to paid llike the best?

He's not paid like the best. Just has a high guaranteed portion of his contract. Pretty reasonable for a team that was contending for a SB with him at the helm.

pro-bowlers are mediocre, got it.

Who? Vernon Davis? Yeah. He had one good target who was a pro bowler during one of his SB runs.

whatever dude. none of these names is a real improvement over what he was working with in sf.

Jeffery is twice the receiver Crabtree is. Forte is the best receiving back in the NFL. Bennett is the only one you could reasonably argue as being worse than before, however I think Davis took quite a step down. Bennett's still a pro bowl talent while Davis hasn't been for 3 years.

bears were not good last year. who'd we manage to beat though?

A shitty niners team that Cutler lit up. Granted our defense played well but how many TDs did Cutler throw on that fantastic supporting cast you were talking about?
