Okay, then I'll just debate what you said... Your statement was that HKers deserve this random award for risking their lives for freedom? Idk if you've noticed but a lot of protesters are endangering lives by rioting, attacking mainlanders for speaking in their native tongue, throwing debris off of rooftops, etc. There was also a story about protesters that allegedly derailing a train that goes from mainland to HK. Sure, the cops could've done that to frame protesters. They've been seen doing a whole bunch of other shady shit.
But the protesters as a collective whole don't deserve any awards.
Again, I support the protests. But that support ends for those who've endangered the lives of others because of their beliefs (or in many cases what dialect they speak).
