I am aware that drugs can be taken without much repercussion, but I guess as a father, I would want whats best for my kids which is the option of no drugs as you stated.

I was doing some reflection as I was replying to someone else and realized by decision to not partake in drugs in high school was primarily based on not disappointing my parents after everything they have done for me. They never did them, and it was passed down to me to not do them. If it wasn't for that, I'm sure I would have at least tried it once. I guess i am feeling that my biggest reason to avoid drugs will not be there because of my partners past as my kids won't feel that guilt
