After seeing that Jill Stein has invited Bernie Sanders to take over the Green Party ticket...

Still might get a Trump presidency regardless. There are a significant number of Bernie supporters that will not vote for Hillary, and I imagine this won't change even if Bernie chooses to endorse her candidacy. There are plenty of people who are planning on writing his name in anyways.

If we take Bernie out of the equation entirely; personally, I'll vote for Gary Johnson before I vote for Trump or Hillary. The Democratic Party needs to learn what the Republican party learned this primary season: The more you try to control the outcome, the more backlash you will get from your own supporters. Trump's competition was pretty laughable, and he had enough fervent supporters to force the Republican party's hand. Bernie had the bad luck of going up against a very recognizable name (both good and bad) who had already been chosen by the party as their nominee. Can't entirely fault them, as Bernie was an Independent his entire career. That's the kind of thinking that has to go though. Politics should not be a team sport. I don't think Republicans are bad people, just focused on different things than I am. The DNC should let the people decide, instead of using underhanded tactics and having so many super delegates.
