Given how far she bent over backwards to placate him on everything and to try and be fair, I doubt she was screwing him on what she was charging him. Unfortunately though when you move in with someone, there’s always a risk it won’t work out, and you have to be prepared for that. All he had to do was be a reasonable person and treat her better, and he didn’t.

I don’t know if we’re remembering the same post but if it’s the one I’m thinking of, the reason people said that was because that OP made something like 30% of her boyfriend’s salary and he also wanted to live in a fancier place than what she could afford, which doesn’t really apply here.
