AITA for leaving the country to avoid paying child support?

Goddamn you are a shitty person. She didn't bring him into the world, you both did. And whether you like it or not, you still have a responsibility to at least contribute in some way or another to the growth of your child.

You are being extremely ignorant - abortion isn't just "Zap! Baby gone! Yay! Everyone's happy!". The woman could feel guilt and regret and emotionally beat herself up because of it, and could get depressed. There is also a chance of physical implications.

Some women might also change their minds when they are pregnant and keep the baby.

That's just reality. Too often I see us men complain about becoming a father, when even though it is most often much much harder for the mother.

So stop whining like a child. You're being extremely immature and I can't imagine how you've even made it through adulthood thus far. You don't have to be in the child's life, you can just pay child support but instead you choose to be a thousand times worse and flee the country to avoid paying it. What a waste of oxygen you are.

No respect, and YTA.
