AITA for making my daughter go to church?

First of all, OP is not a French Armenian in conflict with his daughter. He's likely the period lady.

Second of all, your comment here is woefully misinformed and a regurgitation of a "fact" you don't appear to truly understand.

The human brain does not fully mature until late twenties and specifically what that means is that decision making tends to be based primarily on emotion rather than abstract thought.

It does not mean that "21 is no different than 17 is to 19." Young adults are capable of formal operational thinking and use it regularly. They do tend, however, to rely on emotion as a factor in their choices.

There is nothing more or less valuable in this process and many people do this for their entire lives.

Feel free to also call me wrong though I will explain my comment here comes from 20+ years of neuropsych testing administration and report writing.
