AITA for telling a customer they should have paid closer attention to the menu if they have dietary restrictions?

NTA. i don’t eat meat and once ordered a side of brussels sprouts at an italian place with “pancetta” listed as an ingredient on the menu… i kinda thought it was just a spice or fancy cheese i had never heard of. didn’t think to ask and did not realize until i had some and tasted the pork. buuut it was my bad, so i let my meat eating boyfriend have the dish. didn’t complain, and paid for it as usual because it was MY fault ! and my bf loved it anyway lol.

learned my lesson- google it or ask! ive been used to asking if green beans/collared greens have meat in them, being from the south (and it’s not always listed, anyway. some places think you should expect bacon with your beans). but if you have dietary restrictions, you should be on top of finding out what you can and can’t have
