Wait so did you go with her to pick out gear?

Did you ever go to see her on Saturday climb a bit, sleep over, climb again the next day, then go home? Or ask her to go to your house for this?

Did you sit down and tell her you were cancelling because you are worried about her safety?

The way you wordered your post came across to me like "you didn't do enough so now no trip". Which feels like a punishment and I don't think that was your intent.

But if I'm being honest it doesn't sound like you wanted her to come in the first place. And that's okay too. Some people like to climb to be alone.

However if that's the case don't make her feel bad over this.
