I edited the part where I said he was a good husband but he isn't a bad husband also, he's just flawed and sometimes you don't react appropriately in a disagreement, it's human. He should realise his mistake of not being respectful towards his wife and apologize for the same. I financially contribute towards my parents household and therefore I have two different accounts one joint and one single, my independent account is for my expenses towards me and my side of the family and joint account is for joint expenses towards my partner.
